"So what exactly is this 'viral marketing' that we keep
hearing so much about?...I thought viruses were bad."

Sure, computer viruses can play havoc with your PC or Mac,

1. Refer a friend. Probably the simplest way to implement
viral marketing. Simply put a small e-mail form on a page
of your site to accept e-mail addresses. People can then
enter the address of a friend whom they think may take an
interest in that particular page. Anyone with a website can
set this up easily.

2. ePostcards can be a great viral tool. Allow people to
send a postcard from your site to a friend's e-mail
address. The friend receives an e-mail letting them know
that a postcard from a friend awaits them on your website.

3. eBooks: Anyone interested in making money online will
soon come across informational ebooks. They can range from
totally free to $100s to get hold of and generally contain
how-to information. eBooks are easily the best method of
viral marketing available to Internet entrepreneurs and
you'll soon learn how you can set up an ebook traffic virus
without writing a word…

You can set up your own ebook traffic through rebranding.
Rebranding can be possible when you buy or are given the
rights to resell a customized version of an ebook.
Sometimes the owners/creators of the ebook will rebrand it
for you and other times you'll be given a 'branding tool'
