HOW TO MAKE HUGE PROFITS FROM INFORMATION
WITHOUT WRITING A SINGLE WORD

It really is amazing just how much money you can make selling
other people’s information. This is made possible when the
original writer or publisher gives or sells you resale rights to
an information product, be it an ebook, a report, a CD or a
video.

So what exactly are resale rights? When you are awarded resale
rights to a product, you have the ability to resell it as your
own, as long as you don’t alter it. (Sometimes though, you may
be granted customization rights, in which case you will be able
to make some alterations, but we’ll come onto that later.)

Sometimes you may be granted ‘master resale rights’. This means
that you can pass the resale rights on to your customers. Those
customers will then be able to sell it themselves, as will
people who buy it from them, and so on.

A resale rights agreement will often have restrictions placed
on it. For example, some ebooks may not be sold as part of an
ebook package and some must be sold for no less than a set
minimum amount. It’s always important to check these
restrictions out before you start selling the product.

Resale rights may also be referred to as reprint rights or
reseller rights. They do mean slightly different things, but the
terms are used interchangeably online.

Clearly the main advantage of selling products with resale
rights is that you don’t have to create the product yourself.
Trust me, creating a new product to sell online can be a
gruelling and time consuming task. This way, someone else has
done all the work for you.

Of course there are advantages to creating your own product:
establishing yourself as an expert and inserting affiliate links
into the ebook (you get a commission if the product linked to is
sold), although if you stay tuned, we will discuss how sometimes
you can customize these links.

The original publishers of products also tend to have a network
of customers and partners already set up, so they will tend to
make more money at first. But don’t despair, because it is
possible to catch up and it may well be easier than you think.

eBooks that come with resale rights will usually also come with
a web site that you can upload to the Internet to start selling
the product yourself. Usually it’s a duplicate of the website
belonging to the original publisher that you can customize.

You will also need a payment system to collect the money. The
simplest way to do this is with Paypal –

you can generate a web button that will allow people to pay you
directly into your Paypal account with their credit card.

Of course, you don’t have to use the website they provide. You
could rewrite the sales copy, create a web page with a number of

no restrictions against doing so) sell the products as part of a
package.

Such packages can vary dramatically in quality. Some may include
mostly, or exclusively products with giveaway rights. These are
products that must be given away free and not charged for. Many
of these products will contain useful information, but clearly
they are no good for the purposes of reselling.
